Day Hike

Mark (AKA Nomad) came through Ohio on business and spent the weekend with Kelly and I.  I decided to take him to Clifton Gorge, mainly because it's the nicest hike within a two hour drive.

It was a great hike and Mark was very interested in the various hardwood trees, flowers,  and rocks they don't have in Oregon.  I was surprised it would be so interesting for him being used to the west.

We hiked and talked and had a great time.  We had lunch at the end of the Clifton Gorge and came back.  It was great to hike with a good friend again and was pleased that Mark found the area interesting.
